Fairfax Possession with Intent to Distribute REDUCED to Simple Possession

Fairfax Possession of Marijuana Lawyer:  Client charged with Felony Possession of Marijuana with intent to distribute had charged reduced to Simple Possession with the charged to be dismissed after 6 months.  After initial negotiations with the prosecutor failed to progress toward an equitable resolution, defense filed a motion to suppress based upon a violation of Miranda.  Before the motion was heard and addressed by the judge, the prosecution agreed to amend the charge and the client was allowed to complete the 251 diversion program.
