Fairfax Felony Marijuana Possession Dropped to Misdemeanor with No Jail – Ervin Kibria Law

Fairfax Criminal Defense Lawyer:  Client in Fairfax County Virginia charged with Class 5 Possession of Marijuana With Intent to Distribute under 18.2-248.1 of VA Code and misdemeanor solicitation.  At the preliminary hearing, Prosecution agreed to DROP solicitation charge and reduce the felony possession of marijuana with intent to distribute to misdemeanor simple possession of marijuana.  Defendant was sentenced to 30 days of jail, with all 30 days suspended and 1 year of probation.    Defendant did not serve any active jail time.
